Hi. I’m Elizabeth Arizpe

A Virtual Parent Coach, Licensed Pediatric Occupational Therapist, child sensory expert, Founder of Bud to Bloom – & most importantly, I’m a parent myself.

After years of working in a clinical setting, I began to recognize a disconnect between traditional therapy and what was able to be accomplished at home – even by parents who really cared & wanted to help their child to progress.

Although I value traditional therapy in a clinical setting, I also began to recognize that many families lack accessibility to therapy due to barriers such as insurance complications, scheduling conflicts & lack of communication between providers & caretakers. I have observed families who are exhausted, living in a chaotic cycle of decision fatigue and stress.

I began to suspect that providing virtual parent classes and parent education could give me an efficient link to families whose homes & hearts were being continually disrupted.

This idea bloomed into the multiple programs that we have now! Bud to Bloom currently provides sensory informed occupational therapy services in schools, early childhood centers, virtual and in person parent trainings, and by providing private occupational therapy services.

Bud to Bloom is comprised of a team of Occupational Therapists who are dedicated to equipping caregivers understand how to use sensory enrichment strategies to reduce modern barriers to healthy development.

Our goal is to provide our highly skilled expertise in the areas of child development and self-regulation to help families develop new patterns, improve your relationships & reduce stress in your life.

“Father and mother have no greater delight than to watch the individuality of their child unfold as a flower unfolds.”

“Elizabeth Arizpe has done a wonderful job with our 9-year-old son. Before we started working with Elizabeth, dinner time was frequently a struggle for us that usually ended with our son in tears and my wife and I very frustrated cleaning up a mess. After a few weeks of working with Mrs. Arizpe dinner time is back to being a very integral part of family life. We can definitely say that our son is more willing to try new foods. We are incredibly thankful for the knowledge that she has passed on to our family.”
